The story behind “Steadfast”:

Steadfast is an impression of quiet resilience — a wolf lying in stillness, yet fully present.

I wanted to capture the feeling of being watched by something ancient and sure, something that doesn’t need to move loudly to be powerful.

The warm, earthy background holds the weight of the land itself — steady, timeless, and unmoved by the noise of the world.

Part of my Impressions in Oil collection, this piece explores strength not in motion, but in being — a steady gaze, a grounded spirit, a quiet endurance.
