2025 MIXED MEDIA COLLECTION
DOMINION & WONDER
Dominion & Wonder has been a collection close to my heart. It was born from the awe I feel when I’m in nature — not only its beauty, but its divine order, quiet power, and the way creation reflects something eternal.
These animals carry a presence that feels both grounded and sacred. They remind me that dominion does not mean dominance, and strength does not need to announce itself. There is authority in stillness, joy in freedom, and reverence woven into the natural world — all pointing back to the Creator.
I’m so excited to finally share the titles and meanings behind each piece:
“Still Seen”
Created for moments when you feel overlooked or misunderstood. This piece is a reminder that even in quiet places, you are noticed, known, and seen. Nothing escapes God’s attention.
"lumis"
There is something sacred about the stillness of the wild — the way it watches, listens, and moves with quiet strength. The lone wolf stands at the threshold of shadow and light, steady and alert, wrapped in gold, bark, and silence.
The name Lumis carries a sense of light and steadfastness. As I painted this piece, I kept returning to the kind of strength that isn’t loud or performative, but faithful — the kind described in Isaiah 30:15: “In quietness and trust shall be your strength.”
This wolf does not dominate the landscape, but inhabits it with calm authority. It reflects a strength rooted in restraint, presence, and self-control — staying grounded even when the path ahead isn’t fully visible. Lumis became a meditation on quiet courage and unwavering resolve, a reminder that true strength often reveals itself in stillness.
“Delight”
Joy in the unexpected. Playful, unguarded, and free. This painting celebrates delight as something intentional — a reminder that joy itself is part of God’s design.
“Carefree Dominion”
A light-hearted glimpse of majesty without the weight. Strength paired with ease. Authority without heaviness. A reminder that dominion can be gentle, grounded, and free.
“White as Wonder”
A meditation on holiness, renewal, and wonder. This piece reflects the joy and freedom of a clean slate — unmarred, untouched, and full of possibility.
