Ash & Essence

Ash and Essence is a study in contrast — black and white, light and dark, brokenness and grace. Using charcoal, chalk, and China marker, each piece in this collection explores the raw tension between the good and the flawed within all of us. 

This collection was born out of reflection, repentance, and a deep awareness that transformation doesn’t come from willpower alone. We need Jesus in every moment. Not just to fix us, but to be with us — in the dark, in the light, and in all the in-between spaces we’d rather hide.
