Graphite Reverence
Graphite Reverence is a return to stillness — a collection rooted not in subject, but in medium. Each drawing stands entirely on its own, yet they’re all bound by the quiet precision of graphite and the deep attention it demands. These pieces were created in moments of reflection, when painting felt too loud and life asked for something slower.
This collection is about honouring the act of drawing itself — the discipline, the detail, the love of slowing down enough to really see. For me, graphite is where I reconnect with my most grounded self. There’s no rush here, no need for spectacle — just the soft truth that beauty can emerge from focus and patience.
Every piece in Graphite Reverence is different. There’s no unifying theme beyond the medium — and that’s what makes it honest. Each work is its own experience, drawn in its own time, and finished when it felt complete.
