There’s something unmistakable in the eyes of a dog like this—something that says, I’m here. I’ve got you. I’m not going anywhere.

“Loyalty” is a gentle portrait of devotion. With soft black-and-white washes and warm, scattered petals dancing around the background, this Dalmatian carries an innocence and steadiness that’s hard to miss. There’s no pretense. No performance. Just quiet presence and unwavering affection.

I painted this piece as a nod to the kind of love that’s consistent and uncomplicated—the kind we see in our pets, and that we long to offer and receive in return. It’s a reflection of trust earned over time and held with care.

In a noisy world, Loyalty reminds us that there’s beauty in being faithful, in showing up, and in loving with our whole heart—again and again.
